About 2 years ago Rocksteady Games did the same for Batman games that Chris Nolan did for the film franchise, Injecting some much needed life and attitude into something that was dragging its hooves slightly. Now the films aside, I’ve never really been one for the Batman franchise, sure there are bits of it I adore and I think hands down its got some of thee best and well written villains in the whole comic world, however I digress we are here to review a game and a game we shall review.
It’s time to get away for the summer to the paradise island resort of Banoi. The water is clear, the sand is soft and there’s fun to be had for miles and miles. Except, of course there’s the threat of flesh eating zombies ready to sink their teeth into you as soon as you show up. Yep, something just HAD to go wrong and ruin your vacation. Grab a weapon and start swinging because it’s time to explore Dead Island.
Saints Row 2 is the obviously named sequel to Saints Row 1, which chronicled the escapades of an unnamed character and his rise through the ranks of the 3rd Street Saints, to become a major player in the gang. Saint’s Row ended on a major cliffhanger where your character was left for dead after a yacht exploded.
The empire of Albion has moved on 50 years since Fable 2. Your Fable 2 hero became king and fathered 2 children (Which is kinda odd because my Fable 2 hero pretty much nailed every chick and had kids by the bucketload). Logan became the successor to the throne and is the reigning monarch at the start of the game.
Codemasters latest racing game F1 2010 is a very interesting take on a game series which always seems to struggle finding the right audience across a wide spectrum of gamers.
